Nokia X71, the new mid-range is also aimed at the bored screen
It has been leaked on more than one occasion, but it has not been until today that Nokia has officially made its new Nokia X71. It has done in China, and indeed, it is a mid-range terminal that is configured as the first Nokia smartphone to have the screen perforated.
The Nokia X71 also stands out for having an engine composed of the Snapdragon 660 and a generous 6 GB of RAM, as well as the triple camera that we can see in the back. At the moment it is official in China since the firm uses the "Nokia X" nomenclature for Chinese devices, but let's see what it offers.

PRICE – Determined
More than 90% of the front occupied by the screen
Starting with the aesthetic section from Nokia X71, we find some very characteristic design lines of HMD Global, with a clean rear in black tone and gold edges, only interrupted by the module with the triple rear camera, the fingerprint reader and the logo of the firm. The front, for its part, is occupied in a high percentage (93%, according to Nokia) by the panel, saving that hole in the upper left corner that houses the front camera. We will talk about both cameras later on.
Stopping on the panel, we find a 6.3-inch diagonal screen with FullHD + resolution and 19.3: 9 aspect ratio, a peculiar figure. Be that as it may, it is a reasonably long device and is reflected in its dimensions: 157.19 millimetres high, 76.45 millimetres wide and 7.98 millimetres thick. That goes hand in hand with a low weight, but not excessively high, of 180 grams.
Qualcomm engine and three eyes behind
If we open the hood and take a look at the engine of the Nokia X71, we will find 6 GB of RAM and the Snapdragon 660 processor, one of the most popular Qualcomm mid-range SoC. This incorporates eight Kryo 260 cores, four being Cortex A73 at 2.2 GHz and the remaining four Cortex A53 at 1.8 GHz. The GPU is the Adreno 512 and internal storage of 128 GB expandable. The availability of other versions has not been mentioned.
As for the battery, we have a 3,500 mAh capacity battery with a fast charge of 18W, something that, at least on paper, should be enough to withstand the day without problems thanks, in part, to Android 9 Foot based on Android One. Nokia is still betting on Android One as an operating system, and this new device was not going to be less. About connectivity, we have dual band WiFi, dual SIM, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0 and 3.5 mm jack, although nothing of NFC.
The lenses of the Nokia X71 are signed by Carl Zeiss, something that has already become a brand of the house
We finish with the photographic section, which is perhaps one of the most striking points of the Nokia X71. In the back, we have a triple lens signed by Carl Zeiss powered by artificial intelligence in which the primary sensor is 48 megapixels f / 1.8 and pixels of 1.6 microns, which should help in the taking of night scenes. Beside it, we have a 9-megapixel wide-angle sensor (120º) and a third 5-megapixel sensor to measure depth. The selfies go hand in hand with a 16-megapixel lens with aperture f / 2.0
Versions and price of the Nokia X71
The Nokia X71, which possibly does not come with that name to the international market, has been presented in China but has not been released officially. It is not yet for sale, so the price is not known, even in the yuan. The only thing that seems to be confirmed is that it will only be available in black and in a single configuration of 6/128 GB of memory.
